Gary MacDonald writes, plays, sings and shoots images. His poetry was published in a previous century, before he turned to journalism covering national financial stories and the First Nations resource issues that drew him into a career helping organizations and communities navigate complex change from resource development.

Along the way he has performed in New Caledonia, New Zealand, France and Canada. He takes his bass, his camera and his notebook with him wherever he travels.
